Heritage turkeys are old breeds preserved by a few breeders in the U.S.  They grow very slowly, mate naturally and provide an old-fashioned turkey taste and texture not found anymore in the mass produced turkeys you would buy in your local big box store. 
    They are more expensive due to the longer growth period, consuming more feed and requiring more labor.  We use certified organic grain as a supplement to clean grass pastures.

  No antibiotics or growth hormones are used.
